My name is Allison Ferreira. I was born in Providence, Rhode Island and was raised in Cumberland, Rhode Island by my parents Betsey and Michael Ferreira. I am the oldest child, and I have a brother named Robert who is two years younger then me. Last year, I graduated from Cumberland High School where I was a part of several different clubs and organizations. I enjoyed being a part of the varsity field hockey team during my four years of high school as well as the ski club. During my junior and senior year, I participated in a freshmen mentor program where I was able to guide the incoming freshmen and their parents into a smooth high school transition. I finished off high school a member of the national honor society for maintaining a high GPA. My post graduate plans were to continue my education at Johnson and Wales University. Currently, I am majoring in Fashion Merchandising and Retailing, and I am an on campus resident at JWU. I am in my spring trimester of my first year here...
